Everything that enters our mind has an effect on us, on what happens inside us and determines what happens outside us. Everything we see, read, hear, experience… everything… influences our way of thinking and affects our subconscious mind. It affects our expectations, attitudes, values, our beliefs and our potential as a human being. If what enters our mind is low quality content, it will affect the quality of our mental interior. Our outer world is a reflection of your inner world.
Everything we do on a mental or physical level counts. Either it helps us or it hurts us. Either it brings us closer to our goals or it takes us away from them. It makes us move forward or backward. There is nothing neutral. Everything counts.
Through autosuggestion we can reprogram our mind and make us excellent on the inside and reflect this on our outside. You have to feed your mind carefully (as we would do with a healthy diet to have a healthy body). Mental foods accumulate whether they are positive or negative because everything counts. Everything has its effect. To move forward, you must always put positive and quality mental foods.
How to feed our mind?
One very easy way is by reading. If you do 1 hour of quality reading a day (not newspapers, or novels, but readings that develop us as a person and make us reflect) you can radically change your life. Successful people read frequently. Read at least 1 book a month. Try to read 4 books a month, 48 books a year, 240 books in five years. Your life will be transformed.
Listen to audiobooks. Learning through this system is impressive. You can use time-outs waiting, while in the car (instead of listening to the radio), etc. Taking advantage of this time with quality content will allow you to introduce these content into your mind and be able to self-suggest it. If you count the time that can be used, you will realize the validity of this system, which can be equivalent to a conventional course in one year.
Do seminars with experts, who have achieved the things they explain. Take courses on topics that interest you and help you develop. Swap the couch and TV for these courses.
Partner with the right people. Join reference groups, with the right people. The influences of the people around us is something proven and if these influences are what one needs for the path they want to travel, they will make us go much further. Tell me who you hang out with and I’ll tell you who you are, the saying goes. “If you want to fly with the Eagles, don’t peck with the chickens.” Surround yourself with the people you want to be like. Read the same readings as them and do the same things as them.
Stay away from negative people. Avoid people who have no goals in life and who are a drag on your goals. Sometimes this is not possible but if you can choose and want to develop the greatest potential of the human being, it is necessary to get away from these people, relationships and situations.
Alliance of Higher Minds. Get together with people who have already achieved the goals you want to achieve, and take advantage of all the inspiration you can give them. Meeting to eat, talk, etc … and do it regularly will get you to peak performance.
The two moments when we can reach the mind at its best to self-suggest it is just before sleeping and in the first moments when waking up since the conscious mind is more relaxed. These moments are key mental programming opportunities and new mental content can be introduced.
Getting up and starting the morning with optimism and joy will help to put the subconscious mind on the correct frequency. Get up early so you can have time to read (about 30-60 minutes) quality material (which act as mental proteins). It is also convenient to review the goals every morning since by reviewing them you are programming them in your mind.
