Weight Watchers Diet: How It Works

Weight Watchers Diet - How It Works

Each amount of food is worth certain points. Depending on your weight, you have points that you can spend. You will see that the more weight, the more points. This is because in this way with the Weight Watchers Diet you lose weight in a healthy way and without haste. Those who suffer from obesity should not excessively restrict their calorie intake. Your body, given its volume, needs to lose weight step by step. You have to get used to a progressive calorie restriction as you lose kilograms.

For calorie purposes, on the Weight Watchers diet 18 points would equal about 900/1000 cal and 24 to 1200/1300 and so on.

Can you save points to lose weight?
Not by stopping consuming your daily points you will lose weight faster. On the contrary, the best results are achieved by consuming each and every one of the points that correspond to the week. However, part of the daily points can be accumulated with each other. You can save up to 4 points per day (with a maximum of 14 per week). But they must be used before it ends. At the end of the week there is a clean slate. Whether it has passed or if there are points to be consumed. Logically, if you go over points every week, you should consider whether the Weight Watchers diet is what you are looking for. And what’s more: if you really ‘want’ to lose weight.

When consuming the points saved, keep in mind that in the * weight loss phase * it is not advisable to exceed the limit of 30 points per day.

If you run out of points each day, you can earn a few by exercising. Exercise points are added to daily points. That is to say: if you have 20 points and take a half-hour walk at a fast pace, you will add three points. With which the total points to be consumed that day will be 23. Of those you can also save up to four.

Weight Watchers Diet – Points You Can Earn With Exercise
Apart from the points that touch for your personal characteristics with the Weight Watchers Diet you can earn extra points (also called Bonopoint). It is done by doing physical exercise. This includes everything from cleaning the house to making love. Generally, the exercise points remain unconsumed to achieve a faster weight loss result.

In this way it would be achieved:

0.5 points every 15 min when cleaning the house (1 point every half hour).
1.5 points for every 15 min that you do aerobics (3 pt for every half hour).
